Anthony on kasvattanut uuden ruusulajikkeen, minkä nimeksi on antanut: Sweet-Candy. Hän antaa tämän ruusun Candylle syntymäpäivä lahjaksi.
Tämän ruusupuskan Anthony antaa Candylle sinä päivänä, kun Leganine palvelusväki pitää hänelle läksiäiset. Candy löytää ruusupuskan tallin ovilta, ja vie sen mukanaan Meksikoon asti. Siellä hän joutuu sen myymään, jotta saa ostettua perheelle junaliput pois orjamaisesta maatilatyöstä.

Anthony tells Candy, that the next time they meet, it will be Candys new/second birthday.
Anthony has grown a new rose-brand, and he has named the rose after Candy: Sweet-Candy. He gives this rose to Candy as a birthday present.
Anthony gives this rosebush to Candy when she is having a farewell party at the Legan estate. Candy finds this rosebush by the stables, and takes it with her all the way to Mexico. She has to sell it, to make money for another family, so that they don't have to become slaves in the farm as well.
